Paladins, being a fighter class, get to choose from many weapons to use. The Paladin has the option of using any of the following weapons.

Slash: The standard Paladin weapon. Slash damage is based upon strength, dexterity, and quickness. Slash is probably the best one-handed specialization for RvR, and many PvE monsters are highly susceptible to it.

Crush: Probably the second most popular one-handed specialization for both Paladins and Armsmen alike. It does relatively good damage in both PvE and RvR. Crush damage is based on strength and quickness.

Thrust: Thrust is the third and final one-handed specialization available to Paladins. Due to it's lower damage, however, it is rarely used by any non-rogue class. Thrust damage is based on Dexterity and Quickness

Two Handed Slash: The most common type of two handed weapon in all realms. This specialization does extremely heavy damage compared to one-handed slash. It is based on the same stats, strength, dexterity, and quickness. The maximum damage is factored from your points into two-handed. The minimum damage is factored from your points into slash. It is important to keep these skills at higher level in order to do good damage as a two-hander.

Two Handed Crush: The second most common two handed specialization, this heavy damage line is based, as with crush, on strength and quickness. Maximum damage is defined by two handed specialization and minimum damage is defined by your points into crush specialization.

Two Handed Thrust: This weapon type is unique to Albion, as no other realms have it available. A more rare specialization, it is based upon your dexterity and quickness. The maximum damage is defined by your two handed specialization and the minimum damage is defined by your thrust specialization. This is a good specialization if you are a saracen paladin and want to do heavy damage quickly.

Shield: Though mainly considered as a secondary specialization, the shield specialization allows for numerous powerful stunning styles. They take up a large amount of endurance, but the level 50 stun allows you to stun your opponent for 9 seconds if you block before using it. The damage of shield has no basis, as it is not really considered a weaponry specialization.
